Ghanaian radio personality Hammer Nti has addressed allegations that he failed to prioritize the well-being of legendary hiplife musician Okomfour Kwadee. Speaking in a recent interview on UTV, Hammer expressed disappointment over the claims, stating that he had done his best to support Kwadee until his family intervened.
According to Hammer, photographic evidence circulating online speaks volumes about how well Kwadee was recovering under his care compared to his current condition. He clarified that while he was never officially Kwadee’s manager, he stepped in as a friend who genuinely cared about the artist’s health and well-being.
“You can see from the pictures that when I was taking care of Kwadee, he was looking good. Just compare those to his recent condition, and you’ll understand that he was in a much better state under my care,” he said.
Hammer further revealed that he has been by Kwadee’s side since 2019 out of sheer love and friendship. However, he expressed disappointment that despite his efforts, Kwadee’s mother has not acknowledged or appreciated his support.
The revelation has sparked conversations among fans, with many praising Hammer Nti for his dedication while others question the role of Kwadee’s family in his struggles. The legendary musician, known for hits like Ofie Nipa and Abrantee, has battled mental health challenges over the years, leading to concerns about his well-being.
