Popular Ghanaian gospel singer Diana Asamoah has been forced to shut down rumors of homosexuality after a social media user accused her of being a lesbian.
In an emotional video posted on February 14, 2025, Asamoah made it clear that she stands by her beliefs and will not allow baseless rumors to tarnish her reputation for decades. The singer, known for her courage in addressing social and religious issues, wasted no time in addressing the controversy head-on.

With unwavering confidence, Diana Asamoah dismissed the allegations as a deliberate attempt to tarnish her reputation because she always told the truth.
“Because I’m telling the truth, some people want to take me down. They’re sitting somewhere, editing my picture on top of someone else’s just to spread lies about me. But let me tell you, whoever is behind this should take good care of their so-called evidence because when the time comes, they’re going to show it!” she declared.
She also assured her followers that no amount of criticism could destroy her faith in God.
“God didn’t call me to disappoint me. Whatever evil you people plan to do to me won’t work because I serve a living God,“ she added, expressing confidence in divine protection.
She also gave a cautionary note for pastors & occultists.
More than clearing her name, Diana Asamoah took the opportunity to call out several practices she believes have destroyed religious institutions. She issued a stern warning to pastors who engaged in dubious rituals, especially those involving covert immorality and witchcraft for the purpose of church growth.
“I tell pastors who sleep with male pastor colleagues for rituals to stop. If you think that doing these things will bring people to your church, you are mistaken. It is not of God! And to those who are involved in witchcraft, stop too before it is too late!” she warned.
Since the video surfaced, Diana Asamoah’s fans have rallied in support, denouncing the false allegations and praising her for standing up for her beliefs. Many argue that celebrities, especially women of faith, are subjected to harmful messages simply because they sound loud and are controlling.
While the controversy continues to stir up conversation online, one thing that has remained the same for Diana Asamoah hasn’t gone unnoticed. Whether the accuser provides “evidence” is up to him, but the gospel singer has made it clear: she stands on the truth and nothing will shake her faith!
