Popular Ghanaian actress Benedicta Gafah has finally spoken out and cleared up rumors linking her to Bishop Daniel Obinim in an alleged affair. Social media has been abuzz with claims that the actress is secretly involved with the controversial preacher, with some even speculating that she has become his second wife.
However, in a brave and uncompromising response shared on Instagram on February 16, 2025, Benedicta Gafah dismissed the allegations as completely false, insisting that she has never been married, has never been involved with a married man, and has no interest in becoming anyone’s second wife.
“Guys I’m not married. Never been married neither am I seeing any married man. And it isn’t in my interest being anybody’s 2nd option.” she said.
The actress has made it clear that if she ever decides to settle down, she will personally announce it to the public rather than let baseless rumors dictate her story.
“Someday should I get married, I’ll be the first to announce it,” she confirmed, leaving no room for further speculation.
Meanwhile, Florence Obinim, wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim, has also broken her silence on the allegations, making it clear that no woman Benedicta Gafah or anyone else can take her husband away from her.
She denied claims that her husband was secretly involved with the actress, saying:
“My husband has not married any other woman but me. If he secretly married someone else, I do not know about it. As long as God lives, my husband cannot marry Benedicta Gafah as a second wife. “No prostitute can take him from me,” she said firmly.
The internet is divided over the controversy. While some users sympathized with Benedicta Gafah for addressing the baseless rumors, others speculated that there could be some truth to the allegations. However, neither Obinim nor his camp has issued an official statement on the matter.
