What is Mark’s plan?
He said that this entire organization will now be called Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), whose job will be to develop the next generation of the company’s existing models. Alexandr Wang will lead this team. He has joined this company as Chief AI Officer.
He will be accompanied by Nat Friedman. He has also joined Meta recently. Nat will work on AI products and applied research. Apart from this, people working in ChatGPT, O4 Mini, Anthropic, and other major AI teams will be included in this team of Meta.
Now the question is, what does Mark Zuckerberg want to do with all this? Mark has given the answer to this in his memo. He has said that as the progress of AI increases, people will start working on superintelligence. Meta wants to be at the forefront of the race to superintelligence.
Mark’s new team will work on the next generation of all the company’s models. In his memo, Mark has talked about smart glasses and wearables.
